BURN IN HELL is a story about Franklin Faulk, a restless kid growing up in a small, Evangelical northern Alabama town in the 1980s. Franklin had it made for a six year old child: he lived down the street from his best friend Donny, the best BMX trails in his town were practically in his backyard, and his girlfriend Jeanie lived around the corner as well. However, he struggles with keeping his imagination at bay during public school, so his parents decide to enroll him at Trinity Bible School for second grade. Franklin’s parents failed to mention this to him beforehand, and the fact that the school was conveniently located in the same building as their church, Trinity Church of Christ.
Suddenly Franklin, a free-spirited young boy with an unrestrained creative mind, finds himself in a strict new reality at Trinity Bible School, where chapel is mandatory, participation is involuntary and children are not encouraged to think for themselves. The Bible does all your thinking.
