Michael P. Glover began as a self-taught painter in the South. The artist was influenced at an early age by children's books, comic books, photography and the surrounding landscape of Alabama. After completing his undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, he traveled to Vence, France for an apprenticeship with Nall Hollis at the N.A.L.L Art Association. Afterward, Glover studied with Italian Artist Andrea Spinelli in Florence Italy for 6 months. The artist received his MFA in Figurative Painting at the New York Academy of Art.
Recognized in 2002 by the Queens Museum of Art for the Queens Artist Registry and in 2003, he received a one month fellowship from the Vermont Studio Center. He has exhibited and sold works in galleries throughout the Country, participated in numerous group shows and has been a featured cover artist for Curious Artist.com, Orange Alert,Daily Serving and LCSV4 Illustration.
